Our office is proud to offer a wide range of services, the scope of which is not generally seen in a small town.
Crowns
Dental crowns are a common service we provide at the Golden Dental Centre. Crowns are typically recommended if a tooth is prone to fracture, or weakened due to lack of tooth structure. Crown treatment requires 2 appointments, approximately 2 weeks apart.
Bridges
Dental bridges can be a recommended option to replace a missing tooth to prevent teeth movement and provide better functionality to the mouth. Bridge appointments require 2 appointments, approximately 2 weeks apart.
Root Canal Therapy
Root Canal Therapy is used to treat a tooth that is infected or very damaged but is still viable enough to not extract. The infected root(s) is cleaned out and replaced with special material.
Children Dentistry
The Golden Dental Centre offers a comprehensive range of services to ensure children's smiles stay healthy and bright.
Dental Implants
Dental implants can be an ideal means of replacing missing teeth. They can offer function and aesthetics similar to a natural tooth.
Sedation Dentistry
Dental anxiety is very common. Our office is proud to office three different sedation options, as well as hospital treatment.
Orthodontics
Much more than straightening teeth, our orthodontic programs help align the jaws, develop jaw size, help with optimal function, and may relieve joint pain. We offer a free initial consultation to help determine treatment options.
Implant-Supported Dentures
The Golden Dental Centre now offers implant-supported dentures as an alternative to traditonal full plate dentures.
Sedation at the Golden Dental Centre
Dental anxiety is very common and it is important to us to help create a positive experience for every patient when coming to the dental office. Our office is proud to offer 3 different in-office sedation options, as well as treatment in the hospital.
Nitrous Sedation
Nitrous sedation, commonly called “laughing gas”, is the most basic of the sedation options offered at our office. This type of sedation would be recommended for young children.
Oral Sedation
The patient is given an oral medication that will make them relaxed, but still responsive during their appointment.
Sleep Dentistry
Sleep sedation is our newest sedation option at our office, and is offered by Dr. Van Biezen. It helps makes lengthy or complex dental treatment more comfortable and easy for patients. Instead of a pill, an IV is used to deliver the sedation.
Hospital Treatment
The goal of our Hospital Dentistry program is to provide care for two sub-groups of patients. We can provide in-hospital treatment for children in the area who have significant dental concerns and will not tolerate in-office treatment. Also, we can provide in-hospital treatment for medically high-risk adults.
